This year, Tamro is celebrating its 130th anniversary. Founded by four pharmacists in 1895, Tampereen Rohdoskauppayhtiö has grown over the decades to become Finland's leading distributor of pharmaceuticals and health products, as well as a comprehensive health service provider. At its peak, the Tamro Group operated in eight countries. Since 2004, Tamro has been part of the German family-owned PHOENIX Group, which operates in 29 countries across Europe.

In May, on its official founding day, May 15th, Tamro will host an industry seminar to celebrate its anniversary. Throughout the anniversary year, there will also be other events and campaigns.
